The Memorial

The Thank You Memorial Charitable Trust was established for the purpose of erecting a monument in recognition of the unprecedented contribution of the Russian people in ending the Holocaust and World War II and in honor of the more than 25 million Russian citizens who died during the war.

The Memorial structure is to be a building in the style of a Russian chapel "tshasovnia" with each of its four walls dedicated to a different year of the deadly struggle.

It is intended to be a lasting place for reflection and learning located in New York City.

The Thank You Memorial located in New York City will be built by independent contractors chosen through open bidding.

The actual size will be contingent on availability of funds.
